Transfer student accounts to other teachers in your school

As students change classes you may want to transfer students over to their new teacher so that they can continue using their existing login details and keep all of their previous reading data.

When you transfer your students to their new teacher, the students will:

• Keep their existing login details 
• Keep all of their previous reading data
• Show up in the other teacher's dashboard and will no longer feature in yours

How to transfer students:

1. Ensure the teacher you want to transfer students to has a Pickatale teacher account, and that they are registered at the same school as you.
2. Log into your dashboard and select the students you want to transfer by clicking the checkbox next to their name.
3. Click "transfer students" in the menu that pops up.
4. Find the teacher you want to transfer them to in the drop-down and click “transfer students”.

What to do if your colleague doesn’t appear in the list:

• Get them to sign up to Pickatale for Schools here: https://teacher.pickatale.com/register
• If they already have an account there may be a problem with their school registration; please ask them to contact us at support@pickatale and our team will be happy to assist!
